The Constant Arts Society (CAS) was officiated on March 25, 2007 by Christine Germano, a prolific educator and photojournalist currently residing in Vancouver, British Columbia. Christine has been implementing the Through Our Eyes© Photojournalism Program in schools and youth groups Internationally, a project designed to connect youth to their community through photography and creative writing. In response to the success of Through Our Eyes©, Germano began the Constant Arts Society, a non-profit organization that provides youth with opportunities to explore other mediums as outlets for self-expression.
CAS was founded in tribute to Christine’s younger brother, Constant Germano, who died on August 30th, 1993, from a suicide attempt made five days earlier. His memory is the life force that guides the official mandate of the Constant Arts Society and its programs, as provided below. May Constant Germano’s legacy live on through the voice of today’s youth.
Constant Arts Society Mandate

2) To promote and provide healthy living opportunities for youth;
3) To support youth-driven programs that utilizes media in a positive way.
